Safwan’s Code of Business Ethics and Code of Conduct refers to our purpose statement and expresses the expectations that Safwan has as an employer towards its employees. Safwan is obliged to adopt all measures necessary to implement Safwan’s Code of Business Ethics and Code of Conduct locally.

This Code of Business Ethics and Code of Conduct (Hereinafter “Code of Conduct and Ethics/Code”) of the Company covers a wide range of business practices and procedures. It does not cover every issue that may arise, but it sets out basic principles to guide all employees, officers, executives, directors and also applies to temporary and part-time staff employed by the Company and all others acting on behalf of the Company. All of company’s employees, officers, executives and directors and all others acting on behalf of the Company shall conduct themselves accordingly and seek to avoid even the appearance of improper behavior.  

All Employees are responsible for understanding the legal and policy requirements that apply to their jobs and reporting any suspected violations of law, this Code or Company policy.

Those who violate the standards in this Code will be subject to disciplinary action, including possible dismissal/termination. Furthermore, violations of this Code may also be violations of the law and may result in civil or criminal penalties.  

The basic principles discussed in this Code are supplemented by the Company’s other policies on Employee Ethics /Conduct.
